The more than inspiring Vinnie Pearce has come up with another amazing challenge to get our creative juices flowing!!! I absolutely love this challenge as you can be as creative as you like! Anyway, here are my pages and beside them the CD I was inspired by:

I know I know I am getting slack again! Hardly anyone looks here so I am not sure i will carry this on! Not that I ever thought anyone would look here! Just a bit of work that I can do without right now!!! Well - that was probably a bit strong! GEORGE'S YEAR OF BEING 2!!!

Yeah bit behind I know!!! LOL! He's now almost 10!

So each year I write a few words about George and Thomas' year. I have been meaning to digi-tize them for ages and this is my first..........well, actually it's my second! The first was actually published in Scrapbooking memories magazine in April - but I am too embarassed to show that one! It was my very very first attemp at digital! It was just photos and journaling so no supplies! I didn't even know this magical digital world existed then!!! LOL!

And when they turn 21 the plan is to give them a photobook with them all in - well it'll probably be a virtual album by then and I will have to re-do all the pages!! LOL!

Anyway, back to this! So this is George age 2 in 2002-3.

Gosh Heather T is so talented! She's made some beautiful frames complete with shadow (she is the shadow queen!) and a new kit which is absolutely fabulous and she made a font (included in the kit)! How talented is she!!!

DREADFUL ME!!!

See I have only just got a mobile phone! I leave it switched on and leave it on the front seat of my car always. People ring me - sometimes - and they text me! But they realise that I am so dreadful at looking at the darn thing! I am still just not used to it! It's not like I have to use the thing - not like I am an addicted teenager! And let's face it - isn't it quicker to email than text???!!! Takes me ages to type on the silly little tiniest micro-ist keypad in the world!!

I had to recharge the thing yesterday as I was meeting a friend at the beach - that takes longer than 5 minutes - far too long! Don't they have super-chargers these days??? LOL! Anyway, I switched it on and all these text messages came up! All saying happy new year! How sweet! Gorgeous friends I have! All sent on 1st Jan just after midnight! Well I say "all" by this I mean 3 - a lot for me!!! So I replied saying "Happy New Year 2011!! As it is probably closer to 2011 by the time I read them! LOL!

Anyway, so I am awful! Dreadful. terrible! Not only with mobile phones but with this blog. I knew it! I knew I would be slack! I am the same with emails! And Face Book and Twitter and Linkedin??? FORGET IT!!! Imagine...........! So I have about 5 pages I have done and the idea was to upload them! I'm the same with loading into any other gallery other than Pixel Canvas! I wait until I have 5 pages to post and then upload them all to all the other galleries I have! See just so hopelessly terribly dreadful! Useless I think is the word!

So, without further adoooooooo here are my latest pages (that's if anyone reads this - I am merrily ticking myself off here as no one will know! I can say anything here! I can tell my deepest darkest secrets and no one will know as no one will read this! Not sure why I started a blog! I think just coz everyone does.................!)

Blimey!
Lets get the kids Guitar Hero for Christmas Dom said! I thought it was a great idea! So Dom did what he is best at doing and found a bargain brand new GH on eBay which he bought! Was a local guy so he collected it! Just as well as the box it came in was twice the size of me! And that really is saying a lot as I am in the world's top biggest (widest!) people I am sure!!!

Anyway, what we saved on eBay we would have spent on wrapping paper!! But I had a better idea......a treasure hunt! So I wrote out 10 clues and the last one was "wait for the noise". Now at this point Dom was supposed to run around to the front of the house and ring the doorbell! After about 10 minutes though we heard a knock at the front door and the kids ran and opened it - to find the Guitar Hero! Ah their faces lit up! Thomas (5) was jumping up and down with excitement! then said "what is it?"!! Gotta love that gorgeous boy!!!

So the GH was set up in no time really and before long we were all drumming, guitaring and microphoning our way through some rock songs and really having a great time!

That was Christmas Day. Today is 27th - so 2 days later. I am absolutely sick to death of hearing the same tune all day every day! "Beat it!-MJ"!! George can guitar and drum every note to it now and Thomas knows all the words to this so George and one other (be it a friend, me or Dom) play guitar or drums and Thomas sings it! Well he thinks he knows all the words! Oh dear! he says "Just Eat it, eat it....your just a jungle so put up and fight it doesn't matter who's if you are right!! Just eat it........" And that gorgeous way out of tune 5 year old lovely singing voice!!! I begged them to change the song! I even offered gingerbread house bits as a bribe. They say they have to learn one song so they can get 100% and earn enough money to be a rock star!!

I tell you, I am on the verge of hiring a drummer and guirarist to just teach them so we can all move on to another song!

Then, just driving over to a gorgeous friend Chris' tonight for yummy turkey which neither of us had this Christmas! - anyway, switch on the radio and who is on there with what song.......yup! MJ and Beat it!!!

AAAGGGHHHHHHHHH!!!

.......but don't hold your breath! I made a frame using the shape tool and just added shadow, so thought I would give it away. Actually I made 2! A circle and a rectangle. I will upload the circle for now and do the rectangle another day as it's late here now!

So I have been trying to get this blog thing off the ground but I just am no good at blogs. I mean the name BLOG should have sent off warning signs! Who ever thought of that? It must be one of the worst names!! I know it means web-log but really why didn't they call it WOG? or even WEBLOG? I mean they might as well have called it BOG!!!

Anyway, so I created this about a year ago and am finally doing something about it! Not sure why as no one will come! Hello......ello......llo........lo......o......! See just an echo! Oh well! Ho hum! I guess it's just for meeeeeee!!! eeee.......eee....ee....e! LOL! Doing a naked dance!!!

Anyway - do you like the banner? Great hey! I bought it from a shop as well as a blog template thingie that does the sides and all but can't seem to load that bit and Heaven knows how to put HAPPY CLICKS in there! maybe next December I'll look at that! I am sure if I put it into Photoshop.....!

I might be brave and be back later to upload another post!!! Steady on!!!!

2009 goal!

At the New Year's Eve gathering we all decided not to have New Year's Resolutions but to have goals instead. That way we have a whole year to get to that goal!!! So mine was to create a blog and get into digital scrapbooking. Well, seems the obvious thing to do, seeing as I spend every available moment Photoshopping, scrapping (digi/traditional/hybrid) or ploughing through the squillions of photos on my external hard drive. And I don't seem to be able to get top sleep until after 2am every night!! But that's possibly because I have so much I want to do and can only really do it "after hours" - ie when the kids are asleep and the chores done - about 9.30pm most nights.
I now have a scrap room with a new huge desk and a new Wacom graphics tablet (Intuos3 6x8in). I haven't watched TV for weeks either now so it's all good!!

So, now I have to design some digital scrapbooking freebies!!! Just so I get hits to this site! And upload some photos I guess!

Do you like the name "Happy Clicks"? Seeing as all the stuff I do is Photoshop, editing and camera shoots!!

Well better sign off as I have to look for flights back to UK for Easter and call the oven fixer man and put washing out........the kids are sitting watching a movie so are quite happy. Must make the most of this time.
